Dr. Melanie Kessler, PT, DPT
Dr. Kessler received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Duke University Medical School and her Bachelors of Science degree in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology from the University of Florida. She is a specialist in orthopedics and pelvic health who treats women and men. She has an interest in a wide array of conditions including chronic pain management, scar tissue mobilization, orthopedic & sports injuries, pregnancy/postpartum, and bladder/bowel traditional care.
Shas pursued advanced pelvic health training through the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute and has experience working in oncology, gender affirmation medicine, and post operative joint care. Dr. Kessler strives to provide a safe and inclusive environment that is patient-centered. In addition, she has a strong passion for LGBTQIA+ inclusive care.
Dr. Kessler is originally from Florida near Tampa/Sarasota. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two cats, Simon and Marbles. She loves to try new hiking trails as well as cooking new recipes. Her dream job (besides Pelvic PT!) would be to work for National Geographic as a nature photographer.
