Audra Killingsworth

Audra Killingsworth, OTR/L

Audra Killingsworth has over 15 years of experience in Occupational Therapy and specializes in pelvic floor therapy for women and men for all pelvic health conditions. Audra has received advanced pelvic health training through the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Health Rehabilitation Institute and is passionate about providing patient-centered and affirming LGBTQIA+ care.

Occupational pelvic therapy includes the same internal/external treatment techniques, exercises, and behavioral recommendations as pelvic health PT. However, pelvic OT also takes a functional approach to rehabilitation that includes attention to the client’s physical and emotional well-being within the context of important life roles and personal/professional environments. This holistic approach allows clients to be empowered in the roles and activities that are important to them.

Audra was born and raised in Louisiana and moved to North Carolina 15 years ago. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. She is married with 4 kids, 2 ferrets, and 1 cute dog. It was after giving birth to her second child that she became interested in pelvic health and rehabilitation. Audra enjoys reading, being outdoors in spring or fall weather, cooking at times, and crafting. When she’s at home sitting, her dog is in her lap, claiming the space.
