Dr. Shilpa Patel, PT, DPT, MBA
Dr. Shilpa Patel earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Augusta University, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Georgia, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Kentucky. She has over 4,000 hours of experience treating men and women for pelvic health issues and also provides outpatient orthopedic services.
Dr. Patel became passionate about pelvic health when earning her Doctorate and pursued advanced training from the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. She is also trained in the use of myofascial trigger point dry needling to complement her manual therapy skills. Prior to becoming a physical therapist, Dr. Patel worked in the financial services industry, holding several licenses as a broker and working as a product manager.
Dr. Patel treats all genders, though takes special interest in post-partum rehabilitation and helping her patients get back to feeling great. She has experience with a variety of orthopedic and pelvic health conditions in adults including:

Dr. Patel likes to spend time with her family and friends, tend to her indoor jungle, create with resin, volunteer, take art classes, and get out in nature. She is on the Board of Directors for the Foundation to Educate Disadvantaged Children and Help Humanity (FEDCaHH). Above all, she loves doting on her two teeny chihuahuas.
